Two day old Moluccan and Greater Sulphur-Crested Cockatoo chicks on 3/28/04

On 4/13/04, the chicks are really growing fast and the Greater Sulphur is outgrowing the Moluccan!

Here are the same two chicks shown
at left on 4/19/04.The Greater outgrows
the Moluccan because its natural habitat
of Australia is harsher than that of the Moluccan, thus the chicks must grow fast
to survive.

Here are the same two cockatoos (shown immediately above) on 4/26/04. The Moluccan still prefers to sit low on its feet while the galerita has always stood as tall as possible!
